Sample Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Antigua: Arrive at Guatemala City Airport and settle in. Kick off the journey with a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Antigua in Focus: Begin with a secret photo challenge and explore cobblestone streets. Capture the stunning monastery and scenic volcano views. Lunch with a local family supports their livelihood and education. Afternoon free to roam, followed by a group photo share session.
Day 3 – Local Culture & Markets: Sunrise photography at La Merced Arch. Travel by colorful chicken bus to nearby villages and photograph lively markets. Evening group dinner and photo review.
Day 4 – Journey to Lake Atitlán: Scenic 3-hour drive with stops at sacred Mayan sites. Arrive at breathtaking lake views and explore your surroundings.
Day 5 – Meet Your Hosts: Connect with the Tz’utujil Mayan family who host us at their lakeside hotel.
Day 6 – Artisan Village Immersion: Boat to San Juan. Visit a coffee farm, experience backstrap loom weaving, enjoy a village lunch, and participate in a private Mayan ritual: evening dinner and photo sharing.
Day 7 – Choose Your Adventure: Optional sunrise volcano hike or relaxed morning canoeing and exploring, with endless photography opportunities.
Day 8 – Santa Catarina & Lakeside Life: Visit vibrant villages, photograph Mayan textiles, boat across the lake, explore, shop, or relax. Lakeside photo share and final group dinner in Antigua.
Day 9 – Farewell: Breakfast and airport transfer, with time for last photos of Antigua.

Cost: $3,500 (double occupancy; $200 extra for a private room for the whole trip)
